過去形だか現在進行形だかの文法のページでね、日本語の内容を英語で書く問題があったんだけど 明らかに本題はそこじゃないはずなのに三単現つけ忘れて回答ミスってたのがムカついてしまったんじゃ

よりネイティブに近いフレーズが載ってる英語本も買って時々読んだりしてるので「そういえばそんなこと書いてあった気がする……」と腑に落ちたけど

基礎英語の本で、お年寄りに席を譲る場面で「座ってください」を英語で書けっていう問題が載ってたけど、 それの表現方法を調べたら「sit downは失礼な表現なのでhave a seatとかが良いよ」と書いてありひっくり返った あれかなぁ、日本語で言うところの「座ってください」っていうより「お掛けください」の方が丁寧だよ的な……

まあ元々色塗るつもりのない落書きの予定だったから……と言い訳を並べる
