Road trip today to Brehon Brewery in Co Monaghan - great set up, lovely people & fantastic beer. One of my go tos and if you’re not too far away I’d recommend a visit. Open days for the next 2 Saturdays.

Just the one tonight - a really outstanding strong English style bitter from my nearest local brewery.

A few snakey ones for #stoutseason - the Farringtons beer is new to me & is lovely - love an oatmeal stout. The Sullivans beer is fantastic - they don’t make a bad beer

Sunday beers - exceptional Guinness in the GAA club in Malahide - only took me 11 years to come in here for a pint - my mistake - it’s just lovely 🤤

Pastry #stouturday from Wickla Wolf & the finest bakery in Dublin - first sip is sickly sweet but it settles then quickly & is really, really tasty

#stouturday is go - subtle coffre flavour in a lovely creamy beer from O’Haras 🍻

Poor head retention but a damn tasty imperial stout - feels like I’m kicking off the winter in style - cheers Whiplash

Finally a Red Ale I can get behind - love Sullivans Brewing - they make really tasty, unfussy beers with loads of flavour & no haze in sight - highly recommend & if in Kilkenny their tap room is amazing
