Today I was fondly remembering playing Planetarion (and similar) 20+ years ago and how impressed I was it would update the game for 10s of thousands of players every hour. When it suddenly dawned on me it doesn't actually do all those calculations within a few microseconds when the hour changes

After some struggling managed to get Svelte reactivity working in combination with SharedArrays and Atomics. Not optimal, but who knows, a first article for my blog if I ever get around writing again 😉

Had been struggling with a specific styling issues and @kevinpowell.co recent video on :has made it suddenly click. Using :has(:nth-child(2n):last-child) can be used to detect if a list has even or odd items 🎉
