One of my favorite things to do is create some dumbass janky loop of music and then improvise vocal melodies over it... it's funny how easy it is to stumble into something sorta magical, and then how insanely hard it is to go from there to a finished "song" / "piece"

I made a generative music toy in a game jam at work on Friday, where you draw a picture and it gets interpreted into music as you do so. For a long time I’ve wanted to make a game where making music is the main gameplay mechanic, and the simplicity of free drawing works much better than I expected!
