In March, Croatia was declared landmine-free. The mines have killed hundreds since the 90s. Over 30 states parties to the Mine Ban Treaty eliminated all antipersonnel landmines. Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland & Poland abandoned the crucial treaty.
