Swan cygnet flight training. During this time of the year, after these babies have hatched and gotten to a point where they can fly other swans come in from surrounding ponds to teach them defense and how to better fly. Mom and dad chased them, While their Cygnets observe. #birds #swans

This is what happens when a swan family is about to protect their territory. This also teaches the cygnets how to defend themselves. These babies can’t fly yet but the intruding swans entering their pond will act as catalysts that encourage their ability to fly. #birds #photography #swans
