7 days since a terminal window got mysteriously stuck, and I still refuse to restart. 😂

It is a year now since I started running, (my first run was Feb 4th). In that yeah I did 1500km of running. Doing over 200km in some months. Starting at humble 3-5km runs, in 7min per km tempo. Progressing to 21:42 5k, and 1:41:22 half-marathon in fall. So here to keeping up with it also in 2026.

Calling functions in #PowerShell is relatively expensive, so when you are logging debug messages you figure out once if you need to write the message (e.b. $ShouldWriteDebugLog = #$TRUE) and wrap all calls to your logging function in an if (which is cheap). But then how do you ensure you wrapped all?

I just found a #powershell thing that surprised me. `-in` is not an array filter. Normally operators return bool when only one item is on the left side, but array of matching items when array is provided on the left side. so 1..10 -gt 3 returns all numbers that are greater than 3. 🧵1/2

I’ve just crossed 1000km for running on Strava.

After the ultra hot half-marathon race last week I tried in a more reasonable weather and set a new PB. It even surprised me, I was hoping for 1:45, but was able to speed up and sustain the faster pace in the second half of the run.

Did halfmarathon in Usti yesterday. My first ever half-marathon race. And the weather was brutally hot. People were quitting left and right, some of the pacers gave up. Finished in 2:04, deeply under my target time. But I am still happy with the time, I gave it all. strava.app.link/9pSAOUVqQWb
