This was my live set for “Auditive Skulpturen” in March 2016 (in discrete quadraphonic sound). I've always had a lot of small noise and drone boxes in use here.

Here is my older EMS Logic Liveset from THAU. I actually preferred the Roland #104 sequencer, but it was too big and too heavy for me. On top of that, it tended to go out of tune during transport. The delay is a Moen Pretty Dolly.

During the live set with my band THAU, the two EMS Synthi Logik units were controlled by an Arturia Beatstep Pro sequencer. It was a compromise I was never happy with.

Oberheim OB-Mx – a polyphonic analog synthesizer (shown here with 6 voices). I never really liked the OB-Mx; somehow it always felt like a compromise. I almost always used it with the 24dB Moog filter—it sounded more powerful that way. Since I didn’t love it, we parted ways.

Behringer Deepmind DM-6 and DM-12. Two great-sounding polyphonic analogue synthesisers. The smaller one had to go after two days and was replaced by the 12-voice model, because with ambient music featuring long-held chords, you really notice the number of voices.
