Mum loved gardening and disliked cut flowers as that was killing them. So we made an arrangement of cyclamen plants in the shape of the letters M U M for the funeral yesterday. Then we put the plants back in pots at the wake for people to take home with them as a lasting tribute.

On holiday, and we're in a Wetherspoons for lunch. I don't need the toilet atm, but am going to head there anyway. Not been to this Wetherspoons before, but based on past experience I'll probably need the toilet by the time I get there...

It is with great sadness that I tell you that my mum died early afternoon on Fri 8 August in hospital, a few weeks after her 89th birthday. The pic may seem a little odd for August, but she loved Christmas. Thank you mum. You had a significant role in me becoming the person I am.
