The early universe continues to amaze - led by UT/CFC postdoc Anthony Taylor, we've discovered an extremely distant black hole (the most distant "broad line AGN"). This black hole is *massive*, and may even have more mass than its surrounding galaxy! Check out more here: arxiv.org/pdf/2505.04609
