Diamine Day 19 - Overcast. A light, multi-shading blue green. I immediately thought of Celadon Cat when I swabbed this one, and indeed they are pretty close, with Celadon Cat being a bit greener and more muted. (Cont’d) Pen: Scriptorium Idyll in Brooks Abalone

Diamine Inkvent Day 18 - Laurel. Another extreme sheener with very nice chroma. In writing this is a cool, dark green ink that gets mostly covered by a red sheen. Add a little water and you get a range of super pretty greenish teal tones. (Cont’d) Pen: Atelier Lusso Hydra in Brooks Peacock Koi

Diamine Inkvent Day 17 - Gala. I don’t use light purples as often as the medium to darker ones, I have to give this ink kudos for being different from ALL the dozens of purple bottles and samples I own. Not a small feat. (Cont’d) Pen: Montegrappa Mia Veri Peri

Inkvent Day 13 - Ruby Taffeta is a rich, deep red with greenish gold sheen. The base color looks a lot like Diamine’s Red Dragon, which is the nicest Diamine red IMO. This is a nice one even if it isn’t really a color that I use often. (Cont’d) Pen: Nettuno Superba Ruby. #fountainpen

Diamine Inkvent Day 15 - Frostbite is deep blue with some red sheen and a shimmer that looks champagne, I think? Seems like there is at least one blue ink + sheen + shimmer in every year’s Inkvent. Good flow on this one, though. pen: Montblanc Glacier Solitaire.

Diamine Inkvent Day 14 - Mittens. A pigmented pink ink that dries rather light and flat. It performed nicely, and I like how the ornament design turned out, but i had to go over the lines several times to create contrast (cont’d in comments). Pen: Sailor x TAG Sakuranezumi #fountainpen

Diamine Inkvent Day 13 - Molten Basalt. This one is a dark blue black with a hint of green or perhaps even a “teal black” (appropriate for the Teal edition) with quite a bit of sheen, even though it is listed as a “standard” ink. Pen: Atelier Lusso Hapalua. More in comments #inkvent #fountainpen

Diamine Inkvent Day 12 -Bubbly is a muted golden/bronze color with a greenish undertone, with champagne shimmer. It’s a little light, needs a juicy nib, but it is lovely and sophisticated. Swipe for comparisons Pen: Retro51 Pride and Prejudice.

Inkvent Day 11 - Brrrr! I knew this was a pigment ink when I drew the ornament and did the swatch comparison, but I had forgotten it was a shimmer so I didn’t shake the bottle. But when I did swab it previously, I didn’t like the way the shimmer looked with the pigment ink - it was sort of clumpy
