Here’s my sign off from #WeekendSingles for this week - simply because I came across it for the first time today, it’s quite pretty, and it has an unusually stiff card sleeve. I’m travelling again for the next month or so, but sadly not in a way that will allow for crate digging.

Just a single single-sided single for #WeekendSingles today. The bonus 7” included in the mahoosive Sight For Sore Eyes Vol 2. Nabbed this while in the States, because EBay decided to only charge me US shipping rates to ship to the UK. 😃 Sadly getting a copy of Vol 1 will require remortgaging 😖

I saw Martin McAloon opening for Thomas Dolby again last night, in Stroud. So, here’s some Prefab, TMDR, & a bunch of the songs he covered in his ‘Iconic 80s Symphony’. It was fun and very cleverly segued & executed - but if I wanted a medley of 80s hits I’d go and see a covers band. #WeekendSingles

In Melbourne I was glad to find the most recent release by local band The Traffic. I’ve paid a ton to have their previous releases shipped over. Though that was my lot, but then an op shop (chazzer) had a few nice 80s company sleeve 7”s for 50p, & then I found Muscle Shoals Records.. #WeekendSingles
