Now having played Resident Evil 1 - 3 and Megaman Legends, I'm kind of a tank controls enjoyer. I actually feel like it's sort of a shame they've been more or less phased out these days. I thought they worked really well for those games!

Man I'm not a remake hater nor a hardcore Rayman Guy but that Rayman Legends remake is gonna make me into both. I don't think I have ever seen such a high budget remake that's so insanely pointless & also looks so ugly.

Still thinking about Starfox a bit, the discourse around it has basically become noise, as the discourse always does. It makes me wonder how these designs (and to a lesser extent this remake, itself) will be viewed in retrospect, a long time from now.

Also, what a crazy summer nintendo's gonna have, huh? New Rhythm Heaven, Splatoon, and new* Starfox all within a few weeks of eachother. Probably Fire Emblem pretty quick after that, too...

I'm not a Starfox guy (albeit, I have played most of them) so I don't have a ton of valuable thoughts on the new remake, except for the fact that watching the 50/50 split on whether or not the redesigns are fuckable has been a rare moment where I have enjoyed watching discourse play out. lmfao.

Jakks Pacific Sonic collection update! Reorganized the whole shelf since I got some new stands that can better support Sonic characters and their massive heavy heads, and added Tikal & Tangle to the collection.

I'm really astounded by how good Pokopia is. I played Dragon Quest Builders 1 & 2, I already knew it would be good, but it's actually like 4x better than I even expected. This is an all-timer sort of game.

I think it's very notable that despite the sheer volume of aquatic Pokemon in the Wind & Waves trailer, we didn't see Gyarados or Magikarp. I bet those two are finally getting regional forms.

The Scott Pilgrim EX demo is so good. The soundtrack is incredible and I love what a totally shameless, direct rip-off of Metal Sonic Metal Scott is lmfao.

Another 5 years of Pokemon discourse has hit the timeline. I've basically fully unplugged from having to hear Sonic fandom discourse, but it appears that Pokemon discourse is loud enough as to be unavoidable. lmfao.

I don't exactly agree with Nintendo's choice to make it basically impossible to play Virtual Boy games in 2D/docked mode, however, after playing through Wario Land and sampling the other currently available games I do at least kind of see what they're getting at here.

Virtual Boy Wario Land is kind of sick so far. It's crazy playing a totally new-to-me classic Wario Land game that I somehow just know literally nothing about.

Playing the new Mario Tennis, and overall it's actually super fun especially with friends, but I'm kind of shocked at how sloppy the Adventure mode is lol.

Origami King really has one of the best Mario soundtracks ever. The folks over at Intelligent Systems know how to cook up a great OST... TTYD HD's soundtrack is equally legendary, too. Whatever Paper Mario comes next I'm really more than anything dying to hear the music

Playing some of the New Horizons 3.0 update, they appear to have totally redone the HD Rumble, at least on Switch 2. It's like, way more intense now. I feel like a goofball for even noticing something like that.
