Just finished Cold Steel II, the finale, divertissement and epilogue were great but overall I really do think the game dragged. Still good overall though. 7/10 Gonna jump into Cold Steel III, I've heard a lot of good things about this one

Just finished the finale for Cold Steel 2, still have the divertissement and the epilogue to get through but Holy shit that ending, no spoilers but, god damn. Yeah, I do still think most of the game is a drag but the entire Infernal Castle segment was great

I forget sometimes that a lot of people on this website did not live during the 80s and 90s and so have a very different perspective on game design and difficulty than I do

Ngl, Cold Steel 2 is boring me to tears Like, I love how the events of Azure are tying into the story but Jesus everything else feels so dull. Just got done with Act 2 Part 2 and I just want to move on to CS3 already...

My four favourite FF games X was my first one, it'll always hold a special place in my heart because of that. V I love, I think it's very underrated, especially the annual 4JF Shadow ringers was the current expansion when I got into XIV (patch 5.2) and it was an incredible time to jump in. (1/2)

Just beat Trails of Cold Steel Wasn't sure what to expect since, from what I can tell, this seems to be one of the least liked Trails games And yeah, out of the six I've played I'd probably say this is the worst one, but I still really enjoyed my time with it, its like an 8/10 in a series of 9s

So Avowed, fucking Avowed, got nominated for the game awards whereas Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter didn't? I never really had any respect for the game awards but the fact that Avowed got nominated at all really pisses me off

I'm playing cold steel right now and the idle animations just look so odd when you put turbo mode on. Like I get it, I have turbo mode, of course it'll look weird but I just find it funny how it looks like they're breathing really fast but they're heads move very little or not at all

Just beat the crossbell games I think my favourite trails game so far is still SC, but Crossbell was still incredible, especially Azure Will be jumping into Cold Steel next

Just beat Trails in the Sky SC for the first time Fantastic game, 9/10

I finished Chapter 2 of Final Fantasy Tactics but decided to start Trails in the Sky SC. Ended up putting in 11 hours into that game in one day and now I'm torn between continuing with omit or finishing FFT first

Nearly done with the Trails in the Sky remake. Should be done by the end of the day. Absolutely loving it. I actually have some characters I really want to draw pixel art for too, hopefully it'll finally get me back into drawing pixel art, will definitely post here when I'm done

About 30 hours into the trails in the sky remake, couple hours into chapter 3 (city of Zeiss) and I'm really enjoying it, even if it can be a bit slow

Just beat Dawntrail. Got very bored but honestly not a big MSQ guy to begin with anyway. Don't get me wrong, I love this games story but the way it's told usually makes me fall asleep. The only time I wasn't getting bored was the MSQ stuff from 4.1 - 5.55

Was only now just able to watch the FFT Remaster trailer on a big screen and the sprites look even worse than I thought they did when I watched it on my phone earlier I get why they didn't want to keep the original sprites, but smoothing them looks awful

I've barely ever used #raylib before, but I'm already loving it, its so easy to use! literally all you need are the cheatsheets and maybe the examples, everything else is just down to how well you can code Its really given me the breathing space to focus on the base architecture of this game

Finally starting on this today. Decided to use #raylib over Love2D so that I can stick with C++. Unfortunately not streaming, I'm kinda just not feeling it right now I'll make sure to share progress updates though, maybe even carry on development after the jam ends
