We managed to add my writing desk to the auction! (thanks to my work studio kindly storing it for a few days). It's beautiful, beloved by cats, full of writer karma and suitably scuffed. It's where I wrote The Shining Girls & other novels, per this very glam, very old photo of me and my murder wall.

Really interesting review of the new Kincaid from Roseanna. For me, most especially interesting on the question less of which books he chooses (there are many canons, many paths through a corpus; we choose our own, fine), and more on what he notices - and doesn't - about the books he *does* select.
