Today especially we are missing our sister Michelle who started this fight, but isn’t around to see it concluded. Michelle was relentless in leading this most recent battle for equal pay against Birmingham. She inspires me every day. I miss her terribly.

GMB have reached an agreement with Birmingham City Council to settle equal pay liabilities 🎉 We would not be here without the courage of women workers taking strike action to force their employer to the table. Credit to all those who got us into the room, and those that delivered in there!
