Last year, one of my pieces was a finalist in the Urunga Small Works competition I didn't win, but it was a great privilege and very encouraging and motivating Urunga is a beautiful town in New South Wales I enjoyed playing the talking drum during the opening ceremony, too 🪘

I went back to my roots as a carver about 2 years ago, after 20 years of focussing solely on recording and teaching music I make lots of drums, and all my carvings have musical purposes they bring 2 passions together Here's some pictures taken since I resumed carving here in South Australia
