Rewatched Batman: Year One (2011) last night. So much of the comic was rooted in the specificity of the 1980s, so large swaths of Gotham looking like generic 21st century Warner animation backgrounds does the material a bit of a disservice.

One under-discussed aspect of Pomni trying to fight Jax at the end of Episode 6 is how Jax put so much effort into convincing her that none of the violence was real earlier, so her jumping him was just her acting on that advice. #TheAmazingDigitalCircus #TADC
