This anime (Genshi Shonen Ryu) is a loose anime adaptation of a manga by Ishinomori (Ryu no Michi). And then Genshi Shonen Ryu got a manga adaptation by Ishinomori himself. So he made his own adaptation of a loose adaptation of his own source material... Is that confusing?

I find it most interesting that Umezz redrew Cat Eyed Boy for the Volume Release to make him look less cute and more intimidating. Weird world of Serialized vs Tankobon.

Writing sucks sometimes. There are a lot of obstacles that come your way by just starting a book. Conflicting ideas, struggling to actually write the thing other than the ideas. Oh man writing hurts your head. And I'm taking a break for now.

I'm not one to give writing advice but I must say it is always good to look into the older drafts of your story as you busy with your new one. There could be interesting ideas that you could put to use for the current... Especially if you stuck.

It's interesting to see Devilman's 1972 Anime Design drawn by Go Nagai himself. It's surreal actually seeing it in his style. Admittedly this is how picture Anime Devilman in my mind anyways. Since I'm an avid Nagai fan.

Ah yes, "Writer's Block". Usually I hear it's from people worrying about their story being bad, but sometimes it can also be that you're not feeling it at the moment...yeah I've been there and I feel every writer has. And then there's also procrastination. Which...I'm doing as I post this.

Maybe it's too late to make a post like this. But this year I have a dream and goal I want to accomplish...no I MUST accomplish. I will do it, I can do it, because I belive in myself and there are those who believe in me.
