I was just thinking this morning about the British couple being detained in Iran. The media doesn't seem to have considered asking whether there's any evidence they are ok. I certainly hope so; it must be so worrying for their family right now.

I enjoyed a lengthy morning walk which took me to a village in Oxfordshire where they filmed the village scenes for the TV series (and forthcoming film) ‘Downton Abbey’. The tourists were arriving on their coach tours on a perfect autumnal day for their visit.

The anger of Beatles fans at the forthcoming release of 'Anthology 4' solely available in the four-volume collection has caused a rethink at Apple/EMI. It will now be released on its own as a double CD set for £25 - maybe cheaper by the release date of 21st November. The right decision!
