Just got back after two weeks in Japan (in case you’re wondering why Gematsu schedule has been so out of wack lately). It’s been six years, but had the best time reuniting with old friends, meeting new friends, and returning to BitSummit. That heat was something else though…

Happy Switch 2 launch day! No new console for me until next week (thanks, superstore), but hoping everyone is enjoying the launch lineup. On an unrelated note, shoutout to all the PR sending out embargoes for SGF announcements / making my week just a tad easier.

Played a bit of Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster today—particularly the mouse control minigames. Ringabel’s Panic Cruise is the equivalent of driving with a car full of nagging children. But I did alright somehow! It was fun to try out!

Had a great time at the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Orchestra World Tour last night. Loren Allred‘s performance was especially great. Go play Rebirth!
