Maybe transphobes don't see psychological well being as a good enough reason to treat gender dysphoria because the ideal for them is that anyone they view as weak or weird should kill themselves. Which, contrary to the image they claim, that would make them eugenicists, not concerned guardians.

From the perspective of one whonwas raised by onf parent, being raised by one parent is not nearly as damaging- sometimes not even worth thinking about depending on the kid - as dismissing a kids actual problems/concerns while trying to force everything to revolve around parent count.
