Well. It finally happened. These are likely American Yellow Morels (Morchella americana). They were found under some scrubby hickory and oak trees…but that’s all I’m telling you about my spot! #fungifriends #mycology #foraging #morel #mushroom #nature

Amanita persicina. Also called the “Peach-Colored Fly Agaric”, this eastern North American mushroom can sometimes be found growing in mycorrhizal association with the Loblolly Pine. When the sunlight hits them, their pearlescent sheen becomes apparent. 🍄

Beautiful, orange and yellow Hygrocybe mushrooms. Exact species is unknown.
