I fully support this bill aimed at combatting maternal mortality rates. This bill would require private health insurance to cover necessary home blood pressure monitors as a pregnancy-related service. Dealing with the possibility of breast cancer is bad enough. No one should have to worry about cost if they need further diagnostic exams. I’m so proud that #PAHouse passed my legislation in a bipartisan fashion that would require health insurance to cover such exams at no cost to patients.
