I empathise with Jo who felt insecure/anxious after seeing firsthand a little teaser of the bond btwn TJIan. But this type of self-serving, disingenuous rhetoric pisses me off. Not a single muscle in Ian’s face suggests that he wants to be let go. He’s the one chasing “that man” down the street ffs.

I hope wetsand has more expository scenes like this. It’s so thrilling the way Jo is 100% aware that Ian is in love with TJ, then sees the two of them rushing back to each other, so he deliberately interferes and keeps them apart. This made me firmly pick a side as far as the eg is concerned.

I know it’s a rhetorical question, but girl, you aren’t exactly a professional at communicating your feelings either so wth?? 😭

I’ll be honest. Everyone in this story has made questionable choices, out of desperation, obsession, and/or impulse. But there’s way too much emphasis on TJ’s wrongs. Every time he appears, the narrative pivots back to his mistakes. It’s lowkey anticlimactic.

My heart feels heavy whenever I think about this panel of TJ. On his own, guilt ridden, misunderstood, always a few seconds away from death, and carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders. And as if his woes weren’t enough, he’s convinced himself that he is indebted to Jo (of all people).

These panels of TJ in his weakest moment really make my heart hurt. It’s like clarity hit him so hard, he couldn’t stay standing and crumpled to the ground. Mans really allowed himself one moment of weakness to mourn something he (seemingly) lost, and then it’s business as usual.

One thing about TJ. You will never find him lacking in front of his men. It’s lowkey funny to even imagine a situation where TJ would accept Ian’s offer to run away and essentially abandon his loyal subordinates.

TJ is no stranger to emotional setbacks, but this time it feels different way. ❤️‍🩹 Although I’m positive that nothing will distract him from his plan…

“TJ should d*e. That’ll show Ian!” And why should TJ go through more traumatic events? It’s unnecessary and reduces TJ to a plot device in someone else’s story. He is a full fledged character with his own journey, and if anything must happen to him, it should be done to advance ✨his✨ story.

It’s understandable that TJ would mention Jo considering what he saw at the end of ch 32. I’m glad TJ said it, bc they need to have a conversation about what really happened that night. Neither of them knows that Jo kept them from meeting.

I am forever stuck in this “main lead biased” hell, because the narrative is never in ML’s favour. You never get to see things from ML’s pov or see him having his moment of vindication and peace. It sucks.

Sometimes i wonder if making the eg ambiguous is a driving force behind the storytelling.

So is he just going to storm out of there, and TJ’s going to let him? What about the whole “you’re a moving target now” thing?
