Happy to get everything cleared up soon with paying folks back and pay off my credit soon. I dislike owing anyone.

After several months of back and forth with California Unemployment and Disaster Relief, I finally have an answer to retroactive payments. BUT then this week they tell me to wait longer so it can include December since I had to re-submit in January because they denied the first claim. 🫠

Paying me 30 days late while blaming it on a client who already paid your accounting team a while ago, is a wild choice and one I will refuse to do business with again.

For most people, more good happens to them in a day then bad which is why when bad does occur, it becomes a striking anomaly. Learn to pay more attention to the good to re-train your brain to think in mostly gratitude instead of in trauma response.

Art is defiance against chaos. When you see difficult things in the world around you, choosing to then make something you think is good is reinforcing balance. Being in nature is a helpful reminder to that. Because nature is also art. It was created.

Most of the time, you just gotta drink more water. Having menustration cramps? Drink more water. Have a migraine? Drink more water. Have chapped lips? Drink more water.

Things build for you, when you build others. So many are focused on money, fame, or other things they get back instead of “how can I help society and what do I need to give back to it”. That is why they have a hard time growing. It’s got to be genuine geneorsity.

EDD Disaster Relief has been giving me the run around. First it took forever for payment then they gave me the wrong payment because they submitted my income documentation for an old claim… Hoping to final resolve this issue this month so I can get my retroactive payments.

If there are illegals then technically everyone who isn’t of African ancestry is “illegal”. Because that was the first humans on this planet. The people forcing ICE are obsessed with trying to be the majority because they assume other people think as tribalistic as them.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Your life is as good as your perspective is what I learned. Most people I have met who are unhappy and complaint a lot, have lives I have enjoyed living. It be like that.

Perhaps the hardest lesson was learning that we cannot truly save anyone but ourselves. Some choose levels of suffering, but we can still try to help them while accepting that whatever the outcome, it’s their decision. This also frees us from guilt or responsibility we do not have.

The airport situation in America is quite terrible and I def think it’s intentional. Controlling who is coming in and out and where. There are FAA staffing issues, delays, the suspicious DC crash, and now also people with passports being detained by immigration coming back from other countries.
