First not bad Christmas film of the year! Very uneven and unfocused, but that's half the charm - felt almost like a documentary at times with this extended family. And where else do you get to see Scorsese and Spielberg's kids together in a film? 2.5 stars and a placement of 49th on the list.

This week's Alien Earth makes me realise that in comparison with a very similar situation, the events occurring in Alien actually go quite well for the crew of the Nostromo. Could've been a hell of a lot worse!
