Pretty blatant design flaw - the first thing the PS5 tries to do when booting up is connect to the internet. If it can’t find a signal, it gets stuck on a loading screen. So if you are, say, in an internet outage (LOL fuck Spectrum) then you still can’t play your offline games. Cool!
