Think I found some calcite as opposed to selenite . There is some confusion on identification. I will try to get some super sharp photos but both can be found on the beaches of the British Isles.....

I finished my next Ursula K. Le Guin book! [Small review below] I absolutely adored this book. The concept of a medieval-esque modernized civilization (+ a collectivist one alongside it too, on another continent) was so interesting. And ultimately, the book all came down to self-interest and honor.
