There seems to be a lot of Don Callis fatigue, but my hot take is that once Take/Fletcher/Okada have their blow off (which seems soon), we probably won't see Callis as much. Also, funny thing is, IMO, the Fletcher/Speedball match was elevated by the fact that Callis wasn't on comms. #AEWDynamite

After seeing online takes of how the Feds Pleh went tonight and the politicking going on over there, I fully believe if Triple K booked the C2 it would go like this. Take wins his semi Okada vs ??? goes time limit draw Take wins C2 by default All because Okada doesn't want to take the pin vs Take.

Just a theory... Okada de-unified his AEW Unified title since he has to put up the Continental title for the C2. If he should lose, he'll still be the International champ. What if we don't get an Okada/Takeshita C2 final so when they finally have their 1v1 it's to Unify the titles again.

I was not aware, but apparently TK should just cancel the AEW C2 because a lot of talking faces on the IWC and YouTube are not "sickos" that just love graps and think it's stupid that the C2 winner will only win the Continental championship. Wrap it up Tony, the internet has spoken.

To me, the main story of AEW's C2 is that Okada is the greatest tournament wrestler of all time and Takeshita wants to win the C2 as the current IWGP champ and G1 winner to give the 🖕to Okada. So it's not about a title, it would be for Takeshita to be the only G1 and C2 winner in the same year.

I feel like that ending stretch of Fletcher/Okada was specifically for all the YT creators that complain whenever they state how much time left is in the match that it automatically means that the match is going to end in a time limit draw. What a F'N match and we are only 1 match in. #AEWDynamite

Is it human nature to say the thing you don't like first when you are asked your opinion on something instead of what you do like? Just wondering since I've seen some clips about the AEW C2 where someone is asked about their thoughts about it and the first thing they say is what they don't like.

Big time fantasy booking... The Bucks and Kenny have reconciled. Joe just beat Hangman and has not only a crew, but a dojo. Hangman only has Eddie and Swerve as back up and likely needs more help. I feel we will get more clues on BTE if there is one tomorrow, but AEW could use a full Elite reunion.

Very strong opinions about the main event at #AEWFullGear, but I think the strong opinions after AEW Dynasty was worse than it is right now. From what I recall, AEW Dynasty was almost 100% negative. Full Gear seems to be mostly negative, but there are still a bunch of understanding opinions.

The Protostar Kyle Fletcher does not have a pink strap for his TNT championship because he's intentionally blue-balling all of the AEW sickos. The pop that he'll get when he finally comes out with it after he sides with Takeshita will be catastrophic. Protoshita > Protokada

To be honest, I didn't know what to expect out of the I Quit match from AEW WrestleDream, but for those people underwhelmed by the acts taken by Mox and Darby, I'm a little scared to think you wanted one of them to either be seriously injured or possibly be legit unalived on worldwide TV.

Watching a clip from Fightfuls ITW's with Jeremy Lambert and Joel Pearl... Lambert is the man with his rant about booking Cena's last match like how AEW booked Sting's last match. I don't watch the Fed, but I wholeheartedly agree with his argument that Cena doesn't have to go out on his back.

Also, in the small snippet I listened to of the Fightful Sourgraps review of AEW WrestleDream, it shows that not everyone watches the Zero Hour (not the Tailgate) because Renee had a super passionate "promo" of her thoughts of the I Quit match that could be the explanation of why Mox quit so quickly

Watching the Post Wrestling review of AEW WrestleDream, Wai is perplexed why Mercedes match wasn't advertised earlier but if it was wouldn't that have given away the result of her match with Persephone the night before?

Everyone assumes TK's important announcement for AEW Dynamite is debuting the women's tag title belts with a likely tournament. Since Stat is the Women's World champ, we will not get Stat/Willow as inaugural champs, so how about Willow/Harley, Harley/Nyla (bring back Nyla!) or Shida/Syuri?

I deserve a prize, I just listened to the first 18.5 minutes of Steve and Larsons AEW Dynamite review. I am good for the next few weeks/months. They are equally critical of both products. Bold move to openly admit both products are mid. Not sure how that will drive views to their content.

In TK we trust... Coming out of Dynamite, there were only three matches announced for AEW All Out and certain media outlets were in a tizzy. After tonight, we got three more announced (Women's World Title, MJF/Briscoe and Mox/Darby) with a possible fourth (Hangman/Fletcher). All with storylines

Tonight's show feels like an old school Rampage without the obligatory squash match. Crammed in a ton of good graps. Instead of Rampage being the fastest 60 minutes of professional wrestling, #AEWCollision is the fastest 120 minutes of pro wrestling.

Complete the trifecta, bring back OC tonight. Big Bill calling out the Mad King and the Youngest Men Alive bring back Dalton Castle. This show has been bonkers! #AEWCollision

Cold take... Professional wrestling in current times is not really "must see" TV. Hot take... If there was social media back then, the Monday Night Wars would also not have been must see TV. With various accounts posting short clips all the time, you can pretty much keep up without watching.

It's hilarious that one of the main talking points of the favorite "R" word of the IWC is that the current product of both companies are not compelling enough to make each week "must see TV" (NBC™️) I'd argue there is no weekly episodic programs on TV (not streaming) that would fit those guidelines.

I give Meltzer credit because he 100% knows how to get social media engagement whenever he posts about ratings for AEW and the Fed because he editorializes when he posts the numbers and actually seemingly plays "both sides" depending on how they are.

Don't even want to imagine how the bad place is reacting to this, but this works out great for me in case there are any pop up Pokemon Go events since AEW's 8p est start time would completely coincide with any Raid day, Gigantamax Battle or Community Day events for me.

After that barn burner of a 8 man all-star tag, would it be too soon for Take/Okada if they faced at All Out? I would imagine Okada takes the first match up which causes Take to enter the C2 and we get Take/Okada II at Worlds End with Take taking the re-match. #AEWDynamite

Sure seems like they are bringing back BTE (which I would love) and one nice touch that I like is that Matt and Dana's travel vlog has not uploaded any content since DoN as a lot of that content kind of "flaunts" their wealth based on their experiences.

Darby nearly had his ear peeled off by Mox with a fork and flew off the top of the cage with Kidd through stacked tables, but the scariest spot of the match (legit) would have been if they actually let Tanahashi climb that ladder. #AEWForbiddenDoor

Out of all the available talking points about the fed running a show the same day as AEW All Out, a prominent wrestling business site brought up that they are trying to lower talent salaries, but as the last talking point and almost in passing. Disappointing as IMO it should be the #1 issue.

Can you imagine if AEW ref Rick Knox reffed a House of Torture match? That would either be high comedy for some or blood coming out of your ears and eyes from a migraine from others. I don't think there would be an in between. Btw, lets just hope Takeshita takes it home in about 20-30 minutes.

There seems to be some major parallels between the current G1 "situation" and the main event scene of AEW during Dynasty. Evil moving through the tourney because of shenanigans and Mox retaining the same way. Biggest difference though is that there isn't a Hangman/Ospreay waiting in the wings.

The G1 final could be ITW's Jeremy Lambert's wet dream... Takeshita hits EVIL with the avalanche raging fire and is ready to hit a running knee when red shoes gets pulled out of the ring and out of nowhere HoT's own Jack Perry returns to hit Takeshita with a running knee and Evil wins the G1.

So there are takes on the IWC that some are making that legal/lawyers had to have done their due diligence before "clearing" said "moment"™️ Here's a thought, even if legal would clear it, why do it in the first place? Sad to say but the majority of content creators won't stop covering them.

With some of the discourse about the AEW Forbidden Door build, I say this half-jokingly, but the Athena/Toni match is more or less a "traditional" FD match considering Athena has been behind a paywall for the better part of 2 1/2 - 3 years. IMO, who cares anyway since it's going to be incredible.
