Quick update on where I'm at with VN stuff! I haven't stopped working on Solstice Eve - currently, the plan is to release Build 3 during mid-late October! In the meantime... here's a new background from the build! Looks like we're taking a trip beyond the boundaries of Isonburg!

Spicy sketch to celebrate the release of Solstice Eve's first build! ...or at least, that's the excuse I'll tell myself to justify it. In reality I just wanted to draw Cantor and Darwin getting it on.

Question - would people prefer that Solstice Eve's builds be longer on average (~20k words), or shorter (~10k?) Or do they just want whatever makes the individual builds more compelling stories in their own right? ...also I don't think Bluesky has polls, so leave your answers in the replies instead

Solstice Eve is a gay, romance-focused visual novel set in an isolated northern city during the dead of winter. After a year of work, the first build, clocking in at 30k words, is ready to release by the end of the month!

Cantor can't relate to Darwin. Though the two are widowers, Cantor being a gay man in an arranged marriage means that the relationships they had with their late wives couldn't be more different. Yet, when he meets the werebear, a budding relationship begins to form. However...

Just because I haven't been posting much about Solstice Eve doesn't mean I'm not working on it, btw - I'm just very slow at doing stuff. Build 1 is coming before the end of november though. More details in the near future.
