new dvorak fingering idea 2: this time for after the big shift up usually people like to shift down on the first finger for this, but i’ve found that shifting down on the second finger is more reliable for me because the hand shape clues me in on each subsequent shift down!

why i’m stepping away: it was always a matter of time before cello became all-encompassing, but now as I enter the final and arguably most crucial final stretch of my conservatory studies, i simply just don’t have time for kobu anymore. i’m very proud of kobu and am glad to have done it!
