Friday’s adventures in Oregon included seeing the Columbia River where it meets the Pacific, the Pacific, and the mt’s from my friend’s deck. Thurs 3 1/2 miles from hustling thru airports. (Gate change to whole other side of airport w/10 mins to make it? We made it!). At least we had a dinosaur.

Today’s #NunsRanTheWorld activity will be hiking from one end to the other of very large airports & running for connecting flights. Headed to Oregon for friend get-together.

This came up in my FB memories yesterday. And what did we do yesterday? Saw Melissa Etheridge (with Indigo Girls this time). At the exact same venue.

Monday. 1 1/2 mi lunch walk at work, after work found me at a school board meeting to speak against a MAGA religious group trying to pass itself off as “moral education” and get in during the school day. (Had to park far from the bldg, got in another mile). #WarriorNun #NunsRanTheWorld

Easy hike #1, 2.75 miles combo between Frankfort Arboretum (which was meh for scenery) & historic Fort Hill, site of earthen-walled Fort Boone, used to defend the city during the Civil War (where I just didn’t take many pics 🤷🏻‍♀️). Lunch in-between.

Monday: only 3/4 mile at lunch. Too hot on the asphalt! Came home and mowed, though. Also admired the ironweed plant by my mailbox. It’s tallest I’ve ever seen on my place. I’ve had to be diligent abt spraying to discourage deer. I have others, but they’re much shorter.
