For Windows users: New pre-release of the G’MIC-Qt plug-in (v.3.7.0_pre) is available from our download page. It's *not* the final 3.7 release of but it brings compatibility with GIMP 3.0.8, fixing the issue Windows users experienced after updating GIMP from 3.0.6 to 3.0.8.

I just added the ▶️ object3d_depth◀️ command to the G'MIC standard library. It allows to draw a 3D object in an image, in the form of a depth map. It can always come in handy! 🧊

Over the last days, I've tried to improve G'MIC's internal 3D engine, by implementing z-clipping for primitives partly behind the camera. As always, when you want to add a small feature like this, you end up improving the whole 3D engine code! Took longer than expected, but it's all there now! 🤩

Upcoming version 3.5.4 of G'MIC will be able to compile with SDL support, to manage display windows (rather than X11 that is currently the default). That basically means: Wayland-compatible G'MIC CLI tool for some Linux distros, and possibly better display management for OSX users.
