First trash tsunami of the year in Guatemala! And @theoceancleanup.bsky.social successfully captured it, preventing it from flowing into the Gulf of Honduras :)

It’s actually crazy to think that for decades, all this trash would have just flowed into the ocean. How did we accept this? This is still the reality for most polluted rivers today—but hopefully, not for much longer!
