Sometimes things just line up… I threw my sunglasses indoors, aiming for a cushioned area, the pair instead neatly clipped itself on a nearby ledge. While hauling the anchor I saw a small fish had its head jammed through one of the link openings. It was stuck in there, wedged tight.

Every morning, at around 0400, a purple martin comes aboard to sing. The singing always wakes us up. Apparently, their "dawn song," which they perform to attract other martins, is the loudest ^^;

The canvas aboard Pino is very old, thin and discolored, we've started replacing some of it. A few days ago we replaced the flap that goes over the companionway doors. You can see the color difference between it and the fabric on far-left side. It was our first time putting in dome snaps ^^...

Whenever I make bread for hummus I use the same recipe/process as when I make pizza dough. I also cook it the exact same way in a cast-iron pan on the stovetop. Then I cut the flatbread into wedges for dipping ^^. It's quick, and it's good. #theGalley
