Rev. Dr. Donald L. Tucker was the first black person registered to vote in Flora County Mississippi. He was made to take a 100 question “literacy” test and immediately after was attacked by a police dog, spat upon and terrorized by yts. It was upon HIS back that we enjoy that same liberty today.
