I’m at the point of being sick where I can’t remember ever not having been sick. The forever sick. The eternal sick.

I’m in Tokyo on a little solo shopping trip and when my waitress just sat me down for lunch she asked “do you want to drink beer?” so of COURSE I said yes

I worked at the old Barnes & Noble in Chelsea during college (it’s a Trader Joe’s now) and one time I rang up Molly Shannon in the music department. She was nice!

I keep forgetting to mention but I started Clair Obscur Expedition 33 and I’m having a magnifique time en France

Saw a 4K restoration of Seven Samurai in the theatre yesterday! The movie was great, but one of the best things was that the line for the men’s restroom was 5x longer than for the women’s restroom, and that was such a rare delight. Lots of old men in that audience.

I know the jackhammering outside didn’t cause the migraine I woke up with today, but it certainly isn’t helping 😵‍💫

In a cab stuck in traffic on the west side highway, but I can hear the dulcet tones of the Tokyo Drift song from another car

Today I looked at a lot of vintage clothes and then had a nice dirty martini with a salade niçoise and some fries and it was so nice

Chris and I set an alarm for 3am so we could look at the moon but it was SO CLOUDY we couldn’t see a thing 😭

Took Molly to a new vet today and she was SO BRAVE AND GOOD 😭 (She’s going to get her three remaining teeth out so she’ll be a ruthless toothless baby soon)

Just had to steam and brush a vintage wool coat of mine after getting extremely rained on the other day, and the smell of steaming wool fabric is so nice to me - really brings me back to tailoring classes in college

I’m extremely late to the party, but I started playing The Witness on the way down to MAGfest last week and boy has it reminded me how much I love puzzle games

Finally bit the bullet and decided to escape my job that I do not enjoy. Last day is next Friday!!!

So far this Covid experience has been much more mild (I was able to start Paxlovid the same day I tested positive!) but having to isolate when you don’t even feel that bad is its own unique frustration

I want to get in the habit of actually posting here, because I still read twitter but fell off of actually posting much a long time ago, and tbh I miss Posting!
