Basil's beans and paws.

First crop of the nip has been gathered. Basil made sure of the quality. All the kitties are having a tremendous time.

I would like to snuggle with Basil. I am very soft and warm and he likes soft and warm things. - Bean Basil doesn't wash other cats and hasn't let others wash him. Sometimes he sleeps next to Bean, on the balcony. But a lot has happened and changed in these 1,5 years, so maybe, maybe!

Monthly cage clean up, fireweed (maitohorsma) for dinner and an apology bouquet for the quails. You can eat young fireweed shoots like asparagus! Bean was supurrvising. The quails got extra green stuff. And fresh sand. Summer is here. 💚

I've decided to mend my favourite jeans till eternity.

Our sweetest Bean, Palko Beanpod Kaalipilli Papunen, Head Gardener and Guardian of Quails, turned 7 on Monday! We're celebrating tonight with tuna and hay! 🐈‍⬛♥️🌿✨ I love you Palko. ♥️

Human went to give the fluffies some salad as a treat, and spotted an egg. It was hot! So they gave it to me. Ofc I wanted to have the first tastes by licking human's finger and then them to hold the plate for me. It was delicious! Now I'm purring on my favourite fluffy quilt on human's lap. - 🐈

Hello human beans, here are two of my favourite places. This Totoro carpet and human's lap. Parsa is on her favourite down filled pillow. Pasi is checking the quails and telling them to be brave, it is raining hard today.

I've had Parsa by my side since 2012, but not until yesterday I realised her striped side pattern has a comma. 💖

A few days ago I made pickled chive flowers in red wine vinegar, with some herbs like fennel, dill, cloves, black pepper. It turned out magical and so so tasty!

Went for an evening walk. The air is warm and wind smells like lilac bushes. ♥️ I've missed this so so much.

Granny Quail is not hiding in corners anymore. The herbal wipe is working on her back. She follows the flock around. I'm suspicious though, that's why the glare. Pasi is keeping guard.

Hello from the cats and quails. Human got a call today that one granny quail needs a place to stay and have some R&R for a while. It is 0.20 here, everyone's sleeping, human soon too. The granny quail has been very happy about the situation, but I'll keep updating her situation on this thread. 🐣

Hello! 💚 Basil just turned 12, Bean's birthday is next Monday. Parsa still loves cheese and quality time watching movies. We got some new friends in April, meet our quails! I'm also helping out at an allotment garden nowadays. Aaaand there's 37 different plants growing on the balcony this summer.
