Feel free to disregard for small sample size, but it's fun to get some positive talking points: Petey played 3:01 against MacKinnon at 5vs5 in the first period and shot attempts were 4-0 for #Canucks during those minutes.

#Canucks Pettersson/Kane/Lekkerimäki line had a solid period.

Drew O'Connor tied for 13th among all NHL players with five 5vs5 goals in November. He was tied with players like Connor McDavid, Auston Matthews, Sidney Crosby, and Tage Thompson. He had more 5vs5 goals than guys like Connor Bedard, Cole Caufield, and Necas. #Canucks

Elias Pettersson scored 14 points this month. The last time he did that was exactly a year ago in November 2024. The last time he scored more than 14 points in a calendar month? January 2024, right before his play fell off a cliff. That's some encouraging progress. #Canucks

Quinn Hughes led NHL with 27:49 of ice time per game in November across 12 contests. That's nearly a full minute more than the second-place Zach Werenski (26:54). The #Canucks captain has a massive workload this year, plus the condensed schedule and Olympics.

There are a lot of negative storylines around the #Canucks right now, but one of the most concerning is the total erosion of team defence. A strong defensive system has been the team's identity in recent years. This year, they rank 27th with 3.5 goals allowed per game.

Demko is expected to miss 2-3 weeks per @frank_seravalli. The #Canucks play six games in the next 14 days, with five of them against top-tier teams. This includes a B2B against the Florida teams. Going to be tough going for Lankinen.
