Yesterday I hit up the thrift store after buying catfood and just as I was leaving I spot white combat boots on the rack. No way they would be my size...BUT THEY WERE !! Whereever they were before barely touched them. Even the soles are almost spotless. I love them.

I've begun the process of washing all summer weight clothing that cannot be used for winter layering. After washing they are folded and placed into vacuum sealed bags. This keeps my closet from exploding in chaos. Also makes it far easier to locate warm clothing quickly.

Simmer is interested in the new taffeta I am ironing.

Note to self: Make some turtlenecks. The poor excuse for sleeves that don't come to the wrist to keep me warm must be rectified.

Was recently thinking about Voltron Legendary Defender and I'm sad that show has no replay value cause they fumbled the end so hard. It was so good though. The characters, the lore, the conflicts, the uniforms: all poised to be ICONIC. Then they botched it. #voltron
