This is a clear “free speech for me, but not for thee” moment. The right can flaunt decency and humanity, but when their actions or choices are scrutinized, suddenly the reporter or commentator is at fault. Silencing critique doesn’t protect anyone. It only erodes accountability and democracy.

Thrilled to be named “A Candidate for Integrity” by Money Out of Politics! I’ve signed the Candidate Integrity Pledge because elected officials should answer to people, not corporations, dark money, or special interests. This is the first step toward real campaign finance reform.

Agreed, but it goes beyond that. Those who have been undermining democracy for decades have rarely been called out or held accountable. Many have never faced consequences for their abhorrent or illegal actions throughout their entire lives, in or out of politics.

I am so very tired of the Republicans picking the side of criminals vs. victims. Which leads me to wonder, how many of them either received money from Jeffrey Epstein when they ran for office or are named in the files? Why else would they vote against releasing them?

Yesterday, the Supreme Court ruled that ICE can stop people based on how they look, speak, or where they work in Los Angeles. Although this is temporary, as it has been pushed back to the lower courts, it is racial profiling dressed up as law enforcement. (1/6)
