Yesterday I turned down a design project with a budget of a 5th of my yearly income... But the client was an A👁️ *and* bl🚫ckchain business. I honestly questioned if saying no was stupid, because income has been so low this year, but I just couldn't do that shit.

One from earlier this year. Still painfully on-topic. It was my attempt to capture the feeling of rage in my gut around gen-A-I. It was originally going to say "Fear the machine" but I changed it to "Don't fear the machine" as I realised real creatives have a power machine slop can't ever have.

So far, this is an improvement over Threads, mostly because that place is just an endless feed of Xwitter screenshots, bait questions, or 🔥spicy hot takes🔥 It feels nice here. Let's hope the trolls don't break in.

I'm a designer, and this is what I do. I make cool stuff for cool people, from bold branding to badass illustration. I love working with people in the worlds of games, music, cars (particularly retro), tech (no genAI or NFT junk), brewing, fantasy, sci-fi... big nerd stuff!

Packing up and moving from the other place. I'd cultivated a nice list of people to follow over there (mostly games industry and indie dev people) so I've just auto-followed everyone that Sky Follower Bridge could find. Let's see how that works out! 😅
