Exciting work by an incoming postdoc Andrea deVarda (@andreadevarda.bsky.social). Multilingual neural net LMs have enough of a shared inter-language component so that you can train an LM-to-brain mapping model using, say, English+Tamil and then predict brain responses to Italian. Pretty wild, eh?
