Yesterday we installed forty student drawings and paintings in our class shows at the Art Students League of New York. The exhibition opens tomorrow and runs through April 19. Reception is tomorrow night, 6:00 to 8:00 pm. 215 West 57th Street

First painting in the new house. Messed around with this in front of the mirror for two hours last night and wasn’t crazy about it. Today I feel wobbly and am getting up only to eat, so that might explain the painting and my response to it. Oil on linen mounted on board, 14 x 11
