Been really bad at updating here, so here's a quick dump of what's been happening over the last month: - Several SMS 120 shine PBs, ending with this 3:4x - 2 SMO AM PBs, ending with a clutch 8:2x during the sandbox 100% race - 100% goal time #5 and 14:2x sandbox 100% PB

Didn't get a screenshot for the 4th quarter partials I did but here's some final progress from the lab. Feeling very confident in putting this all together in a race I'll be doing in about 2 hours. Let's DESTROY this sub 4

Ignore last tweet, I finally figured out what I was doing wrong with rocket storage so now I can (probably) start hitting the pianta 8 one consistently

Finally got introduced to a good route for pianta 8 that doesn't do the rocket storage at the end

Progress over the last few days, we been cooking. Gonna start to work on second half things on stream today

It has begun. This had 3rd try GBS, horrible bullet bill rng during pinna 2, really bad mole skips and just an overall mid pinna, but it's still better than what I get in my 120 PB lol

WE GOT WR BACK AND THE 6:1X RAHHHHHH

Just finished writing my last exam. Assuming all my finals went well (which I'd be very surprised if they didn't), I'm now a university undergrad

TJOC in the big 26.. ain't no way. My hand is forced after someone got a 6:21 out of nowhere with a new strat that saves about 6 seconds to what I was doing before. As you can see on the splits, I'm calling it "endo tango." 6:1x real soon

A few updates as of recently. A huge 5 minute Talkatoo% PB during my mini LTA, a big darker PB the week before, and a nice g1 any% PB on a new route. Big moves and even bigger ones coming soon

Since I missed the SMO Talkatoo LTA this weekend due to having to study for an exam, I'm thinking of doing my own mini LTA tomorrow. The plan is to do about 8 hours of attempts and just see what I can get in that time (hopefully 1:4x). BE THERE

Now that my classes and big honours essay are done, I've got a bit more free time that I've been using to run a few random SMO categories. The AM grind really carries over to other stuff huh?

Since we're 3 months into 2026 and I'm getting close to graduation, I've thought about what I wanna do speedrun-wise. Here's the plan starting late April: - derust SMO, SMS and SM64 hundos for a sandbox 100% race in May - derust/grind G1 and G2 hundo for goal times and 602 race

For those that didn't catch stream today: I'm gonna be taking a break from Mario stuff until I'm done with my final exams this term (minus some SM64 120 for a relay in March). There's a lot, especially with my honours essay, so I gotta lock in. Mario shall return in late April 🫡

FROM 8:39:55 IN RACE 1 TO A 7 SECOND PB IN RACE 2!!! What an insane turnaround for this week. Final times for each game: 57:36 SM64, 2:36:14 SMG1, 1:30:12 SMS, 3:22:10 SMG2. Time to head back to the SMO grind after a bit of a Mario break. Gee gee

Finally got some time to take a short break from the academic grind. 4 midterms in the last 2 weeks, plus assignments on top of that ain't easy. Now that reading week's starting, I'm gonna be live pretty often, starting with G1+G2 any% today then the official 246 race tomorrow

25 years of life. To celebrate, I'm gonna be live later tonight with the 3D Mario 150. 25 stars/shines/moons from each game, with the restrictions I posted yesterday. As an extra bonus, I'm gonna be taking a sip of alcohol for every star/shine/moon I get. Should be a fun stream

Here it is.. the result of the past almost 2 months of labbing. Went from a 10:03:30 to this by just going through the beginner video playlist and picking up movement/strats. Multimario 100% goal 3/9 as well. I've never seen a 9 hour AM and I NEVER WILL BABY LFGGGG

Alright.. I've been in the All Moons lab for long enough, I think it's time to show the results. Come watch what should be the hour barrier skip (and multimario goal time) this Sunday, Feb 1st, starting at around 12:30 EST. It's gonna be awesome

A lot of stuff has been happening, I've just been forgetting to update here. After all this, I'm sitting at an 8:32 SOB with some room to improve the ending splits for sure. Sub 9's feeling more and more doable by the split

Well this was something. Decided to do a random sandbox race and managed to get a nearly unbeatable pb (until bits happened). Final times: 1:04:25 SMO, 1:29:29 SMS (3rd ever 1:2x btw), 57:43 SM64 (which was 55 pace until a weird invis ceiling). Not what I was expected today lmao

Very nice work in sand 2. Saved over 7 minutes just in this split to give me an 8:55 SOB. It's now doable with my current golds and I've still got a decent bit to go

I haven't been gone, I've still been working hard at the grind. Wooded 2 has been by far the craziest improvement (7 and a half minutes just in this split, and it still has room for improvement). I'm now sitting at a 9:03 SOB, sub 9 SOB is very possible after sand 2

Nice little 2 minute gold to end off the year. I also have such a good SOB now, I never thought there would be this much improvement (before the main part of painting chain no less). Great way to end off the year

Back to the AM lab. Crazy how much just.. not dying can save in these dark side subareas, I've already shaved 3 minutes off my gold and can easily shave another minute too. 9:2x SOB now as well, we should definitely have 8:xx SOB by the end of all this

ONE OH TWO IS MINE!!!! Only took a full week of having a 1:03 flat and so many paces into late game to finally do it. I'm fully committing back to the All Moons grind with this, but I'll be back to learn more strats and push this even further. LET'S GOOOOO

Literally the god run up to moon. And yes, before you ask, I retimed it TWICE and got the same result.. 1:03:00 flat. Like 1 more frame and this is 1:02. I'm still really happy with this but man, what could have been.. (also a Jhay bop so that's neat ig)

Another 2 minutes saved overall. I now sit at a 9:34:30 SOB, improvement of over 20 minutes in just the first 2 days. I'm so coming for that sub 9

Great way to start off postgame imo. Gold by just over 5 mins, most of it coming from picture match (and no, I'm not cheating and using the transparent picture match in OBS)

Even crazier improvement in second half maingame. OVER 7 MINUTES OF GOLDS, and this snow and luncheon still aren't very good at all. I've lowered my SOB by over 10 minutes today and it's just day 1..

All Moons labbing has officially begun. Already brought my SOB down almost 4 minutes (9:55:01 -> 9:51:14) just with the first half of maingame (3 of the 4 minutes was IP clip but hey, it still counts lol). Snow clip will probably save just as much so easy 9:4x SOB out of maingame

Not anywhere close to a PB but we got the derust run in. This lost over 10 minutes to IP clip and snow clip combined, plus I had expected timelosses with places I haven't seen since my first run 2 years ago. Subareas are gonna be the main focus of beginning the sub 9 push

Almost forgot to mention I'm doing a derust All Moons run starting in about 3 hours from now. I don't remember anything, but maybe Switch 2 loads + doing clips + the 2 completed darker side runs will carry enough to get me a PB

4 days of grinding luncheon ILs later. This was by far the hardest kingdom to get something I'm at least content with. I'll push for 2x some other time, this is fine for now. 1:01:30 SOB now

Bruh how did I manage to PB this run.. I lost 20 in sand, 35 in wooded (not even a sub 20 wooded exit btw), 15 in metro, 10 in snow and 10 in mech. Incredibly mid, but it's a start with all my new strats. I could very easily 1:02 before the end of the year

There we go. Finally a good story moon area section and decent enough beginning. 1:01:33 SOB, going for 1:01:2x with luncheon next (skipping seaside since I already have a 3:1x)

Slightly better. Beginning and ending HARD carried this, my story moon areas were atrocious. Sub 4:45 is so free if I put it all together

Welp, we did it. Thank you all so much for 350 on Twitch, I truly appreciate everybody for building what we've got. I think my plan's gonna be to focus on my any% improvement until my final exams are done, then start working on All Moons stuff over my Christmas break. Stay tuned

Safe to say we DID figure out snow dram. Pretty nice start to the IL grind, probably gonna push for sub 4:45 since this still had quite a few mistakes. 1:01:38 SOB now too

Quick sesh of LWCL partials before moving onto day metro. This is almost 30 ahead of what I get in my real pb. My early game's gonna be on point when I come back to runs

I thought my night metro was already pretty good. But now it's definitely one of my best splits with this. Previous gold was a high 3:17. Not taking damage during mechawiggler goes crazy ig. 1:01:51 SOB now, and the next 2 splits should save a bunch

Day 1 of lost ILs. Brought my gold down from a 2:19 to this, with a bonk in this gold LMAO. Probably gonna push for a 2:14, I can definitely do it if everything's clean. SOB is now sitting at a 1:01:56 with this

I just got a 4:32 bunnies (with bird dram) in a random race HELLO??? That's a 5 second gold and NEARLY gave me 1:01 sob

5:2x WOODED LETSGOOOO!!! Very happy with this one. I've lowered my wooded gold by over 20 since implementing nut clip+oob and frs. I finally feel good enough with this to move on. Cloud and lost will probably take 1 day combined, gonna feel like cake after this lmao
