I’m starting to see a pattern with all my characters having some sort of parental issues Either one or both of their parents died, their parents left them behind, their parent is a part of a criminal organisation or cult, they run away because of decisions by their parent

The amount of chapters in my book have almost doubled in comparison to the original plan, originally I had planned for there to be 27 chapters split into 3 parts, I’ve noticed this was way to little for the amount of story I want to tell so now it’s 45 chapters split into 3 parts, each 15 chapters

Just made the concept for a major antagonist in the book I'm writing and to simplify it very much he's basically just a small evil gnome with possible trauma.
