It's easier for me to get my ideas out digitally before drawing them. Once I've gotten the idea down, however, I like to print it out and draw it by hand. This adds that final, handmade, human touch. Plus it's just super fun.

My original drawing of Franken-Hare is on sale right now for $75! I'm hoping it finds its forever-wall soon. The Library Ghost is also on sale for $90. Both of these pieces were super fun to make and I would love to see them framed and hanging rather than lying in wait. Spread the word!

I've been slowly but surely scanning all of my cyanotype prints and putting them up on my print shop. I'd love it if you came to check it out, maybe provide some constructive criticism on the design/setup. I'm hoping the variations of each print isn't too confusing in how I've set it up.

Welp...it was not meant to be. Once we got the all clear to return to the festival, I found that the rain had caused my entire tent to collapse. Everything was soaked. All the framed prints are ruined (as are the frames) all the stickers, etc. Not sure about the cyanotypes yet. It's been a day.

Second day of the biggest event of the year (for me) and it wouldn't be a Missouri festival unless it was storming so bad we have to live in our cars for a few hours 😁 good thing all my prints are wrapped in plastic and my cameras are in their boxes. Fingers crossed the lightning ends soon.

What I love about cyanotype is that, even the slightest change in the process will cause a different result.
