Steve Sarkisian on turning down NFL jobs this offseason: "I didn't come here to put on a hat and say I am a head coach again... I came to The University of Texas to win championships... I wasn't entertaining anything beyond making sure I had a really good job here."

Sarkisian says he is now a firm believer in having to play just about every guy on the roster in the first four games of the season due to the length of the season and the wear and tear it takes on the bodies.

Texas is losing a lot from this 2024 team that made it to CFP Semifinals. But they lost a lot from the 2023 team that made it to the CFP Semifinals. Looking to 2025, the amount of elite talent at various positions leads me to think Texas will be in a similar position once again

The return of Michael Taaffe is big for Texas not just on the field, but in the locker room and the continuation of culture for 2025. Taaffe bleeds burnt orange and is as big a competitor you will find. Perfect for the 2025 roster.

Sark on a change at kicker: "Football is an ultimate team sport, but there's specific positions that are kind of individualized... There's a psychological approach that we have tried to use and there's obviously the physical approach. We'll monitor that through pregame and make a decision and go."

I do think Texas can have success against tOSU’s CBs in this game. • CB Davison Igbinosun has 13 penalties called against him this season. • CB Denzel Burke has allowed 30 of his 39 targets to be completed for 370 yds. Will be interesting to see Sark’s aggressiveness.

Matthew Golden says it was a no-brainer to transfer to Texas after seeing Xavier Worthy and Adonai Mitchell play in the offense in 2023.

Quinn Ewers says he didn't even watch the 4th & 13 conversion on tape after the game. Instead, he says he went straight to Ohio State preparation.

Quinn Ewers says he and Ohio State EDGE Jack Sawyer were roommates during his semester in Columbus. "It is going to be cool to see those guys."
