Have any of the trail camera users here tested out the new Browning Spec Ops Elite HP5 Ultra? Have a place I want to move a trail camera to before the fawns start showing up. Did promise the wife that it could be one of the last ones I buy, except for replacement

May30th and I have had to light up the woodstove. Why? Because it is May 30th, was 40F this morning and I refuse to turn on the furnace because, well it is May 30th

Temps are in the upper 40s F. Right now. Great motivation to move some firewood down from the fields to the house (try to get 2 dogs looking right at you for a photo)

This is the mill a couple of miles down the road. Most of the firefighters are volunteers in this area. They come to serve when called. Thanks and prayers just don’t feel enough.

This is turning into the spring that wasn't around this part of Maine. Ran down to NJ this weekend and was stunned by all the green. Only the poplars here are fully leafed. Still waiting for the lilac to push some flowers. Have a small warming fire in the woodstove.

Wake up in the morning to a day promising the upper 60'F. One of the first mornings when there is no need for the woodstove. So what to do on such a nice day? Start bringing down the wood that has been stacked in the upper fields to season, and start placing it around the house for the next winter.
